Objetivo: Analizar diferencias en las capacidades cognitivas superiores, destreza manual, equilibrio y capacidad de desempeño en actividades de auto cuidado, productividad y ocio entre mujeres con síndrome fibromiágico y mujeres sanas. Métodos: 20 mujeres con síndrome fibromiálgico y 20 mujeres sanas. Se administra el PURDUE PEGBORAD TEST, el JEBSEN-TAYLOR TEST, el GRADIOR, EL TEST DESEMPEÑEO OCUPACIONAL y la Medida de Desempeño funcional MIF. Se evalúa el dolor en las mujeres con síndrome fibromiálgico Conclusiones: Las mujeres con síndrome fibromiálgico muestran dificultades en las capacidades cognitivas superiores y en la capacidad de desempeño ocupacional, menor destreza manual y equilibrio comparado en mujeres sanas

Objective: Analyze differences in superior cognitive abilities, manual dexterity, balance and ability to perform self-care, productivity and leisure activities among women with fibromyalgia syndrome and healthy women. Methods: 20 women with fibromyalgia syndrome and 20 healthy women. The PURDUE PEGBORAD TEST, the JEBSEN-TAYLOR TEST, the GRADIOR, the OCCUPATIONAL PERFORMANCE TEST and the Functional Performance Measure MIF are administered. Pain is evaluated in women with fibromyalgia syndrome Conclusions: Women with fibromyalgia syndrome show difficulties in higher cognitive abilities and occupational performance capacity, less manual dexterity and compared balance in healthy women
